No emergency response plan is complete without training that is why Hour-Zero™ makes it an essential part of the Hour-Zero™ emergency response program. Hour-Zero™ offers practical solutions for school staff training by drawing on real life experiences in dealing with school crises.

Hour-Zero™ Basic Training Modules

The Hour-Zero™ program offers users a complete suite of training programs, designed to assist school districts in implementing their emergency response program. Training includes components for all stakeholders, from the superintendent to community partners.

  • Orientation sessions for the district’s key stakeholders. Sessions are designed to familiarize Board members, Senior Executive Team Members (Superintendents and Directors) and School Principals with the district’s plan.
  • Workshops provide training on the operating principles of the school district’s emergency response plan, how it works within the school district and the Incident Command System. These workshops are intended for lead staff members who will serve on the district’s emergency response team (District Senior Directors/Managers and School Principals).

Complementary Training Options
